Air Canada decided to file for conciliation today

Negotiations Update Bulletin

December 2, 2011

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Your bargaining committee met with Air Canada this week in Gatineau. Though we continued to work on items towards a renewed collective agreement, the pace began to slow down.

Just when you thought there was no Grinch, he shows up for a repeat performance.

Air Canada decided today that they need to file for conciliation.

Negotiations Update Bulletin October 21, 2011

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Your negotiations committee members met this week with Air Canada from
October 17 to 21.

During the first three days of the week, the two sub-committees (Airports and
Technical Operations) dealt with administrative items that pertained to each
of their specific work areas. The rest of the week was spent on global
administrative issues. We are seeing measured progress at this time.

We will be meeting with the Company again from November 1 to 8, 2011,
to continue dealing with all outstanding administrative issues.

We appreciate your continued support.

In solidarity,

Your IAMAW / TMOS Negotiations Committee
